Step Into Your Mental Power.
Your training can be strong, your technique can be sharp — and your competition day can still fall apart if your mind isn't ready. Target Train Your Brain helps you change that.
FALL 2026 REGISTRATION OPENS AUGUST 2
What Is Target Train Your Brain?
This ten-week mental performance program is built specifically for competitive Irish dancers. This isn't about positive thinking or quick fixes — it's about developing real, evidence-based mental skills that help you train with purpose, perform under pressure, and walk onto that stage knowing you are ready.
The Target Train Your Brain (TTYB) program combines small group sessions, personalized 1-1 coaching, and a dedicated workbook to give you the mental edge your physical training alone can't provide. You will learn how to harness your nerves, silence self-doubt, and build the unshakable confidence that shows up when it matters most — on the stage.
Small Group Sessions
Seven 55-minute live sessions held over Zoom with a maximum of ten dancers per group. The instructional portion of each class is recorded, and your workbook is full of activities that connect every skill directly to your dancing.
Three 40-Minute Individual Coaching Sessions
Work one-on-one with Savannah Robinson, mental performance coach, to build a mental training plan that fits your season, your goals, and your unique needs as a dancer.
Expert Coaching
Led by Savannah Robinson, who holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology. Savannah has over eighty hours of supervised direct client work with dancers and athletes, completed her graduate thesis on mental toughness in elite dancers, and is a current competitive Irish dancer herself. She is actively supervised by a doctor in psychology and a certified mental performance consultant as she works toward her own certification.

What People Are Saying About TTYB
"The TTYB program truly changed my training and how I approached it. Working with Savannah helped develop a clear and personal plan for working through my competition nerves. I had my best dance day ever at the Oireachtas following my work with Savannah and I could not be more grateful for her and the TTYB program!"
"TTYB has changed our family's entire dance experience. The coaches have given my dancer tools she uses to work through the inevitable tough emotions that accompany dance. My dancer is more confident on and off the stage, and this has translated to happier dancing and improved results. We used to have tears at almost every competition, but now K has the tools to put those emotions into a more positive perspective."
"TTYB has truly been a life changing experience. I started two years ago when I was gearing up for Oireachtas. I always felt super comfortable to share both my triumphs and my struggles, and the coaches gave me new ways to work through the negatives. I used to break down at almost every negative experience, but now I remember their advice and feel better almost instantly."

Common Questions
No, but TTYB is designed to complement physical training programs like the 10 Week Workout and the Target Training Online Institute.
Live attendance is strongly recommended. However, the instructional portion of each class will be recorded. Once group discussion begins, the recording stops.
No special equipment needed. Dancers should have basic writing tools and will receive a PDF of the TTYB workbook. A printed copy of that week's materials is encouraged for each group session.
Your workbook will be included in your online portal before the first class.
Savannah will always close each session with clear, specific steps for practicing that week's skill in your regular training. The workbook also guides you through exercises, journaling prompts, and activities to help you apply what you're learning.
TTYB is currently available for dancers 10 and up.
Mental skills grow stronger with repetition, just like physical training. While core content themes are similar, program materials are regularly updated to reflect the latest research, and all three 1-1 sessions are fully individualized to your dancer's specific needs this season.
